Website Statistics

The website Statistics that are included with your website are powerful and feature rich allowing you to track your websites growth.

The main information from these statistics which is of use to you are the sections:

  • Unique Visitors - This will let you know the exact number of unique visitors to your website

  • Number of Visits - This is the number of actual visits you get, for example 1 person may visit your website 10 times in a month and so it would be counted as 10 in this section but it would only be counted as 1 in the "Unique Visitors" section

  • Pages - This is the total number of pages that were viewed by your visitors, for example 1 person may visit your website and click through 5 of your web pages and so 5 is the figure that would be added to the stats for this section

  • Hits -  This section really is not important, the top 3 sections are the ones that matter but here is what a hit represents.... You may have 25 images on a page if someone visits that page approximately 26 hits will be registered in the statistics (1 for the actual web page and 25 for each of the images)
